Here It Comes

President-for-Life Obama has just signed an Executive Order that
gives the office of the President complete control over all the resources in the United States in times of war or emergency.
On the surface, no biggie at all since this originally done in 1950. However, and it is a big however:
The order is not limited to wartime implementation, as one of the order's functions includes the command and control of resources in peacetime determinations.
Read the entire Order here; it is a blueprint for martial law during peacetime, all in the name of preparedness.

Pork - The Other Infidel Meat

From the Business Insider:
With tensions at an all time high in Afghanistan following the Koran burnings, the urination video, and the killing of 16 civilians attention is now falling on a long line of "Infidel" apparel and gear.

Exhausted from how they feel they're being perceived, troops have taken to wearing patches and carrying items that label themselves infidels and offer translation in local dialect.
Perhaps a new award can be instituted for our battle-weary GI's, something perhaps along the line of the Légion d'Porc Nom Nom. Of course this award may only be presented in a mosque on Friday nights.

Other infidel items can be found here at the Mil-Spec Monkey.

Ultimate Realism With A No. 2

Believe it or not, these are pencil drawings by an amazing artist, Paul Cadden.
They say the camera never lies - but these images prove you can't believe everything you see as they are not photos at all.

Instead they are amazingly highly detailed pencil drawings, the work of Scottish artist Paul Cadden.

Every hair, wrinkle and bead of water in these images has been drawn by hand, mainly with a pencil, in a pain-staking process which takes up to six weeks to produce a single picture.
Simply incredible detail. I can barely manage a stick figure and this guy does NYC.

No, the above is not a b&w photo.

Finally, Some Hope For The National Debt

The world’s tallest man appears to have stopped growing following treatment at the University of Virginia Medical Center, earning the medical center a mention in the 2012 Guinness World Records.

In May 2010, 8-foot-3-inch Sultan Kosen of Turkey made his first visit to UVa. for treatment by endocrinologist Dr. Mary Lee Vance. Kosen suffers from acromegaly, which is usually caused by a tumor in the pituitary gland. The tumor causes a large amount of growth hormone to be produced, which can lead to gigantism if the excess growth hormone is produced before puberty begins.

It's been known for quite some time that parasitic, malignant tumors in the White House and Congress are what's causing the unprecedented growth of our National Debt.

We obviously cannot send the Debt to the University of Virginia Medical Center for treatment. But come November we can have National Surgery performed to remove these nasty tumors from the body politic.

Planned Parenthood Gone Wild

A Planned Parenthood affiliate in Texas knowingly sent in about $6 million in false claims to Medicaid and took steps to cover up its acts, says a federal “whistleblower” lawsuit that was unsealed Friday.

Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast submitted more than 87,000 reimbursement claims for services that were “false, fraudulent, and/or ineligible,” said the lawsuit filed by Abby K. Johnson on behalf of the United States and the state of Texas in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas in Houston.

Ms. Johnson is a former director of one of the clinics and had “system-wide” access to patient records and billing activities for about two years.

Ms. Johnson, who became a pro-life activist after viewing an ultrasound and has converted to Catholicism, said Friday she filed the lawsuit under the federal False Claims Act in 2009 “to simply expose Planned Parenthood and expose their corruption, and expose what they are doing with American tax dollars.”

Congress Fires A Broadside

Last week the DefSec, Leon E. Panetta, responded to a question from Senator Jeff Sessions (Senate Armed Services Committee) regarding US military forces being engaged in the civil war currently raging in Syria. Panetta declared:
"Again, our goal would be to seek international permission, and we would come to the Congress and inform you, and determine how best to approach this, determine whether or not we would want to get permission from the Congress, I think those are issues we would have to discuss as we decide what to do here.

Sessions responded:
I'm almost breathless about that, because what I heard you say is, "We're going to seek international approval, and tell the Congress what we might do, and we might seek Congressional approval."

Well, Sen. Sessions was not out of breath nor was Congress out of ink.

Now Congress has just fired a shot across Obama's bows.

2d Session
H. CON. RES. 107

Expressing the sense of Congress that the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

March 7, 2012

Mr. JONES submitted the following concurrent resolution; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary
-------------------------------------------------------------

CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

Expressing the sense of Congress that the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.

Whereas the cornerstone of the Republic is honoring Congress's exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution: Now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That it is the sense of Congress that, except in response to an actual or imminent attack against the territory of the United States, the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress violates Congress's exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution and therefore constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.
